When Sissy-Boy changed ownership, we made the difficult decision to close our Enschede store, leaving behind a devoted fanbase. Four years later, we returned with a stunning new location right in the heart of the city. Everything we developed for the Wijnegem store, like the new gifting & holistic table, the new table to present tableware & the new

fitting room. was carried over to this new space.

I personally searched for the perfect vintage tables to highlight the store's vintage character, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. During the renovation, we uncovered a hidden gem—a beautiful roof window that had been completely covered up. We reimagined the store’s layout to make this architectural feature the focal point, letting natural light flood the space and adding a sense of openness.

 

With the store's multi-level design, I wanted to create a cabinet that not only connected these different spaces but also served as a striking centerpiece near the entrance, drawing customers into our brands unique world.
